FIA master switch. Mandatory in most forms of motorsport where a complete engine and ignition kill switch is required.
When wired correctly, twisting this switch "off" will stop an engine running and stop the battery/alternator circuit, making the car "safe". Also a quick way of disconnecting the battery when a car is in storage. Fully removable red key. Complete with resistor for stopping a short circuit or voltage surge.
